Wet your hair thoroughly
Use warm water to soak your hair from roots to tips. This helps open up the cuticles and loosens dirt and oil.

Take the right amount
Pour a small amount of shampoo into your palm:

Short hair: dime-sized amount

Medium-length hair: quarter-sized

Long/thick hair: slightly more

Lather in your hands first

Apply to scalp, not ends

Rinse thoroughly
